The U-28 community is grieving the recent loss of four amazing men.

As announced by the Department of Defense, four of our own airman were killed on Saturday, February 18th, 2012 during an aircraft accident in Djibouti. They were aboard a U-28 at the time of the accident, which occurred near Camp Lemonnier, according to the Pentagon.

All on board were lost. Here is a little information about these great Americans.

Capt. Ryan P. Hall, 30, of Colorado Springs, Colorado. 319th Special Operations Squadron – Hurlburt Field

Capt. Nicholas S. Whitlock, 29, of Newnan, Georgia. 34th Special Operations Squadron – Hurlburt Field

1st Lt. Justin J. Wilkens, 26, of Bend, Oregon. 34th Special Operations Squadron – Hurlburt Field

Senior Airman Julian S. Scholten, 26, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland. 25th Intelligence Squadron – Hurlburt Field
